What is Cardboard Tubes?

The strips should be kept in a bin near the fireplace so that you can use them when you want to start a fire. If you want to make logs with the cardboard tube then you should tape one end of the tube and put a shredded newspaper inside. Now tape the other side of the tube too. The burning time of the log depends on how tightly you have packed the newspaper.

Therefore to prevent this from happening you should cut the cardboard tube in two halves lengthwise. So while you are working in your garden you may tie the halves on the tree to prevent any damages.

- Use it as Starting Pots for Seedlings

First of all, cut the cardboard tubes into two or four pots. Now fill the tray with these cut cylinders that are tightly packed together to prevent them from tipping while you are watering the seedling and it also prevents the seedlings from drying. SO now fill up the pots with seed-starting mix, gently pack them and sow the seeds. While planting the seedlings you should break the side of the roll and ensure that the cardboard tubes are buried.
